Motor Cycle Industry Association announces events for 2004
The is the UK’s only trade association for the non-retail sector of the motorcycle industry has a
variety of events planned for the year at a time when motorcycling and its associated issues are high on
the political, social and environmental agendas.
Events that have already been confirmed for the year include:
Ride to Work Day on 21st July - A national campaign dedicated to promote motorcycling and
encourage more people to travel to work using a powered two- wheeler. An information pack for
people interested in running events will be available from March/April and press packs will be issued in
the run up to the event. More information can also be found at the website mcia.co.uk or from
Samantha at the MCI.
Intermot exhibition in Munich runs from 15th - 19th September 2004. People requiring more
information in relation to stands within the UK Pavilion and costs etc should contact Finlay McAllan

Youth Day will take place on Tuesday 9th November at the International Motorcycle and Scooter
Show. Following on from the success of previous events young people and their teachers will be invited
to attend this educational event. Tickets will be available from May.
